Thanks for stopping by Wii Living.com.  We’re glad to have you here.  Wii Living is a very different kind of blog than you’ll find from most sites dedicated to the Nintendo Wii System.  This site isn’t meant to be a fansite for the “hardcore” video game, or Nintendo fan.  What we’re trying to accomplish with Wii Living is to create an online portal for people who are new to video games, or haven’t played video games in a long time.

If you’re a “gamer” this should be the site you send your non-gaming family members to for information about Wii Systems.  We’re here to answer questions from readers, offer tips on getting the most out of your Wii, and recommending games that appeal to the broader audience that Nintendo hopes to reach with the Wii console.

Video Games shouldn’t be just for a “hardcore” audience.  Video Games are just as entertaining (if not more so) as movies and television, and everyone can find something they enjoy on the Nintendo Wii.  From painting, to fishing, racing, action titles, and everything in between, there is something for every single person reading this to enjoy on Nintendo’s new video game system.  You can even browse the Internet and have more fun looking up the weather than you ever though possible, all from the comfort of your couch.

The Wii is more than just a video game system.  Wii offers games of all categories.  Some are fun family friendly titles that can be enjoyed by the youngest players and parents too.  These games can help bring the family together with a single activity that everyone can enjoy together…and that’s an amazing thing.  We want to help you get familiar with everything that the Wii can do for you, and show you the games that are, and AREN’T appropriate for your family activities.

We also want to show you the action, horror, and more adult oriented titles that you can enjoy after the little ones have gone to bed.  Just like your television, the Wii has “programming” for everyone, and Wii Living is the place where you can find out everything about it, without confusing “gamer” lingo, or technical information that you’re not interested in reading about.

So, add us to your bookmarks, sign up to receive our updates daily in your email, or if you’re more tech savvy, you can subscribe to our RSS Feeds.  No matter how you do it, check back with us daily, because we’ll have new content all the time for you to enjoy.

If you have questions about this site, or the Wii in general, please feel free to contact us.  We’ll be answering emails personally when we can, and constantly on the site to help educate and inform our readers about the new offerings for the Nintendo Wii.

Thanks for stopping by…we’ll see ya soon :)
