If you’re looking for a good deal on a fun Wii shooter, check out this deal over at Amazon for Medal of Honor: Heroes 2. I never got around to picking this up at release but at this price, it’s mighty temptin’! Get it while it’s hot as these Amazon deals don’t last long.

I must forewarn you - this game didn’t exactly “blow up the spot” when it comes to professional reviews (4.5 ouch) and even the community reviewers over at Amazon gave it 1.5 stars, BUT! If you’re a wrestle-maniac like I know I used to be, you might be interested in WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2008 for only $25 from Amazon.
This reader/reviewer over at Amazon gives the game a greedy 2 stars and had this to say:
This is one of the worst games I have ever played. I was forced to go back to my PS2 to play the 2007 versions. You do the same move over and over and over, and over again. The moves are not explained very well in the manual and create mode was terrible. You are not able to preview the movie, entrance song, and entrance move set.
Don’t buy this game, you will regret it.
I bolded that last statement but have to ask, what if it’s only 25 buckazoids!? I suppose at no matter the cost, you’ll still be doing the same moves over and over and over while possibly frantically waving your arms around in desperate attempts to pull off a Tommy Two Timer or maybe the Jackhammer Suplex. I don’t even know if those are real wrestling moves but I do know I’m not making any commission off the sale of this game at Amazon so buy it at your own risk.
It’s a Wii game, it’s on sale, and that’s about the only props I can afford to give it. Does anyone happen to have any direct experience with the game and want to chime in?

IGN liked it and gave it an 8.4 in their review and even GameSpot gave it a respectable 8.0 and now you can grab MLB Power Pros baseball from Amazon for a mere $20. Not too shabby! Use the link above to purchase it from Amazon and you’d best hurry up before the deal is gone!
Here’s a video of the game in action:

Amazon is having quite the sale on a couple of games that folks might enjoy, check out Dewy’s Adventure here for $20 and grab Zack and Wiki for an amazing $28 here. That’s two good to great games for the Wii for under $50! Hurry while the prices last.

WalMart has Zack and Wiki on sale right now for $30 and if you don’t own it already, you had best be clicking that link right now if you know what’s good for you. Seriously, Zack and Wiki is one of the most underrated games to come out in 2007 and deserves to sell like hotcakes at this price point.

How crap that’s alot of money for a Wii, but if you’re desperate enough to spend the cash, you can get one right now from Toys R Us along with a slew of mostly mediocre games. You can only purchase one bundle pack per order so don’t go too crazy.
Here’s a list of games included with the package:
- Spider-Man: Friend or Foe
- Transformers: The Game
- Bee Movie Game
- Crash of the Titans 07
- Dewey’s Adventure
- Zak & Wiki: Quest for Barbaro’s Treasure
- Raving Rabbids 2
- Geometry Wars: Galaxies
- Petz Dogz 2
- Soulcaliber Legends
I’d say those games are about 1/2 good to great and 1/2 junk. Any takers?
