Ford Off-Road Racing Info, Screens

We’ve got a press release and some screens taken from Ford’s Off-Road Racing and whew does it have lots of Ford stuff in it. I don’t have anything against Ford cars and trucks personally, but I’ve found the games featuring nothing but Ford cars a bit odd and almost too “advertisy” or maybe too niche for my tastes. Nothing but Fords? Hmmm..

Wii Chess Press Release, Screens

19.jpg

Here’s the official press release concerning Wii Chess, coming from Nintendo as part of the Touch Generations lineup of games for the Nintendo Wii. There’s also a few screens of the game in action below the PR:

You can now test your Chess skills against the Wii, with the latest Touch Generations title from Wii. Wii chess is considered one of the most powerful chess computers. Wii chess uses loop express, a conversion of the loop chess engine which ranked 3rd in the 2007 World computer chess championship in Amsterdam.

To improve your Chess skills Wii chess allows you record, review and replay previous games. So you can hone your chess skills, ready to battle any opponent.

Wii chess comes with 10 difficulty levels from beginner to expert, and when you have finished going up against the Wii you can challenge players across Europe online, using the Nintendo WiFi connections from the comfort of your own home.

More screens available here at Wiiz.fr.

The guys and gals over at the NeoGAF forums have been discussing Endless Ocean and they’ve posted a few screens up of some interesting finds. Check out the shots I grabbed below from there as well as a video showing off plenty of situations from the game and even a scan from my most recent issue of Game Informer where they give the game a 6.0. They also gave Jenga a 2.0 in this issue so I’m sure they know what they are talking about but I’m still going to be picking up Endless Ocean myself. So relaxing looking!

Wii Made of Legos

This guy put some work into this Wii made entirely out of Legos. It’s even got some little Lego guys inside playing tennis and bowling. Also, check out the Wii Remote beside the console also made of Legos.

Sega’s Superstars Tennis Screenshots

Sega’s Superstars Tennis is coming and will feature over 15 Sega characters that you can control as you volley balls back and forth against your opponents. It seems like you will also be playing on some rather colorful and Sega themed courts by looking at these screens over at CVG. It’s cool to see other developers putting their character lineups in games like this, especially a developer like Sega with a strong lineup.

Puzzle Quest for Wii Screens

Puzzle Quest is hitting the Wii around March of 2008 and 1up has a few screenshots of the game you can checkout. I can’t wait to play it on the Wii as I never got to spend much time with it on the DS, but I hear it’s a great puzzle game.

For $30, this set is going to be a must own for us as we love the HotD series.

Project HAMMER Screens

Project HAMMER has been canceled, but that hasn’t stopped some folks from the NeoGAF forums from getting their hands on some screens from the now defunct game. Check out a few of them below and then visit the link for the rest of them. Still a shame the game was canceled as it had potential!

New Cruis’n for Wii Shots

The NeoGAF forums have a post with a few new screenshots taken from Cruis’n for the Wii and while they do look better than the first batch of screenshots, they still leave a bit to be desired. So long as it’s fun, I’ll be down for some crazy Cruis’n racing, but where’s all the cars on the streets? Did everyone stay home knowing you would be out racing?

More Medal of Honor Heroes 2 Screens

GamesPress had the following screens from Medal of Honor Heroes 2 up this morning showing off it’s fancy texture work and lighting effects. I particularly like the screen showing off the guy using a metal detector, that looks exciting!
