Viva Pinata Coming to Wii?

Could the XBOX 360 game about humping pinatas make an appearance on the Nintendo Wii? It’s already coming to the DS with Pocket Paradise so maybe it could slide on over to the Wii in some form? Spong has an interview up with a couple of guys from the Rare side of things and they had a rumor enticing answer to the question as to whether the game may be coming to the Wii system:
SPOnG: I assumed that… So, we’ll never be seeing Viva Piñata on the Wii then?
Gary Richards: (Grins). I’m not saying.
I’m honestly surprised to see Viva Pinata on the DS with Rare being a Microsoft controlled dev house but who knows, they do like money after all!

While this isn’t exactly my first choice for a RARE game on the Wii, this could lead to even better things, like Banjo Kazooie 1 and 2, or DK64 on the Virtual Console. :D

I don’t think it’s coming to wii, then it needs a total re-design.

It’s stupid to think they are going to Wii with this just because of the DS. MS doesn’t have a handheld product to push. Porting to DS or PSP has no impact on their 360 market share. It just increases the bottom line for the software divisions and distributors. It’s no surprise and it makes total business since. What doesn’t make since is to think it will be on Wii because it’s on the Nintendo handheld device.
